Philosophy & History

Our commitment to our clients and focus on innovation and technology continues to drive our multidimensional approach for growing our business. During a brainstorming session back in 1997, our founder came up with the idea of combining his experience with a business that could deliver real results. The seed of Ecotronics was planted then.

Our name was inspired by combining two essential concepts where we position our business on:

Eco: root word from “ecosystem”, defined as “an ecological community together with its environment, functioning as a unit”. We believe that as members of the business “ecosystem”, our focus on integrating technology, people and creativity are the key factors to accomplish our mission.

Tronics: portion of the word “electronics”. Electronics are the foundation of the technology we work with to develop our products and services, and pursue our mission today and for the years to come.

Management Team

Martín Cadirola. Martín is responsible for managing the company's business development, operations and execution of its strategy. Previously, he held various technical and management positions at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, the University of Maryland, Dow Chemical Argentina and Adrem Corporación Industrial S.A. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering in 1997 and from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires with an Electronics Engineering Degree in 1993. He has been active on the Internet since 1994. In his spare time, he plays the Scottish bagpipes and soccer.

Sondra Jackson. Sondra is responsible for administering internal operations, ranging from written communications to client support. Her experience in various multicultural academic and business environments bring an edge to our team at Ecotronics. She previously worked with The American University as well as The American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a M.A. degree in Intercultural Communications in 1997 and from Purdue University with a B.A. degree in Spanish Language and Literature in 1994. She enjoys making home made jams for clients.
