Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption

Most of us were caught off guard when the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull  (thank you Copy & Paste!) threw an intense amount of ashes into the atmosphere.

Using EZ Lidars, Leosphere SAS, the leading French lidar manufacturer we represent in the United States, has been collaborating with various European organizations to monitor the ash cloud and help assess its impact as the cloud dissipates throughout the region.

More information can be found about Leosphere involvement in these measurements is here. You can also read more about observations from NASA satellites here.
