Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) provide an affordable platform to conduct studies ranging from security applications to environmental assessments.

Challenges in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Search and Rescue (SAR) missions require lightweight sensors and to engage in missions under beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) environments.

Ecotronics is a value-added distributor of two leading French companies working in these fields:

  • InPixal SAS, manufacturer of the ASIO-155, a lightweight full motion video gimbal with electronic video stabilization. The gimbal contains an electro-optical (EO) and a Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) video cameras. A provided ground station enables long range/high bandwidth support. Its ground station software incorporates a variety of tracking and geotagging algorithms that help an operator identify moving and fixed objects and determine their location on the ground.

  • SimPulse SAS, manufacturer of the SL200, a Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver modem utilized in environments requiring robust, long range and secure data radio links. The SL200 can be configured to match a mission’s desired requirements, from frequency operation, bandwidth and radio frequency (RF) power to handling of multiple data sources available onboard an unmanned platform thus achieving a customer’s mission goals.

Urban, Rural and Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight missions are achieved with SimPulse’s SL200 SDR link.
